Introduction:

I am a native of Madrid, Spain, where I studied my first degree in physics. During that period, I spent one summer at DESY, where I discovered my vocation for particle physics. At the end of my degree I visited Humboldt University in Berlin as an ERASMUS student, where I enjoyed a lot the quantum field theory courses, to the point that I decided to stay there and pursue a Masters Degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics.

My Master's thesis is a very mathematical work, focused on some aspects of string theory. My current work in the HiggsTools is however more oriented in the direct study of particle physics, and the phenomenology of CMS experiment at the LHC.

I think that European projects like HiggsTools are extremely important for “Big Physics” and international collaborations. Throughout my career I've been very aware of this. From my ERASMUS grant to my Masters degree abroad, with which I realized the importance of the European framework to open the borders for science.
