I am a first year PhD-student working at Nikhef in Amsterdam.
I studied physics at Heidelberg University and obtained my Bachelor degree in 2011 under the supervision of Dr. Werner Rodejohann at the Max-Planck-Institute for Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg. The subjects of my bachelor thesis were neutrinos, neutrino masses and their theoretical description. From 2011 to 2012 I went to study in France at Université Paris Sud. I focused more and more on particle physics and obtained my Masters degree at Heidelberg University in 2014 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Manfred Lindner. The title of the Master thesis was “Standard Model Vacuum Stability and some Implications for Higgs Inflation”.
For my PhD I went to Amsterdam and joined the ATLAS group at Nikhef.
I hope that HiggsTools helps me to build an international network of skilled physics researchers. I want to contribute to this network and also learn to talk with non-physicists about the very interesting aspects of our field.
