Introduction:

I come from Italy, from a town very close to Milan.

I did my undergraduate studies at the University of Milan, where I got my Bachelor in Physics and my Masters in Theoretical Physics.

Soon after I got my degree, I started a joint PhD between the Université Catholique de Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) and the University of Milan. I initially worked in Belgium under the supervision of Prof.Fabio Maltoni for the 1st year and a half of my PhD, and then moved back to Milan for the 2nd year and a half, where my supervisor is Stefano Forte.

I currently live in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), having moved in November 2014 as a member of the HiggsTools Network. I have joined the Nikhef Institute to work with Prof. Eric Laenen .

Of course I like physics and mathematics, but also like other different things, for instance playing instruments and learning languages. More generally I always love learning new stuff and exploring the frontier of human knowledge of reality.

I'm very grateful for having being awarded a HiggsTools grant. For me, it means a lot, both from a professional and a personal point of view, since I'm sure it will be a highly formative experience for many aspects of my life. In particular, I think it will greatly help me to learn how to work within a network and in understanding which direction I want to give to my professional career.
