Lingvist Technologies joins HiggsTools as an Associated Partner

We are delighted to welcome Lingvist Technologies as an Associated Partner. Lingvist is making language learning 10x faster by using mathematical and statistical methods. The aim is to enable learning a new language in 200 hours using innovative software. The Lingvist prototype was created at CERN by one of Lingvist's co-founders, employing the tools that were used to discover the Higgs boson. Lingvist provides challenging tasks for analysing and improving learning efficiency using data driven methods.

LHXSWG Report 4 now available

The Handbook of LHC Higgs cross sections: 4. Deciphering the nature of the Higgs sector is finally finished. This 868 page report summarizes the results of the activities of the LHC Higgs Cross Section Working Group in the period 2014-2016. The report has many contributions from HiggsTools members including ESRs Agnieszka Ilnicka, Stephen Jones, Davide Napoletano and Zahari Kassabov. Fabio Maltoni, Chiara Mariotti and Markus Schumacher are part of the editorial team. Its a great read and is available at https://arxiv.org/abs/1610.07922.
