I am originally from Colombia. My path in physics started in Bogota, Colombia, where I undertook my undergraduate studies, doing theoretical work. Then, in 2009, I worked with data from ALICE, as part of my MSc at NIKHEF, on the elliptic flow of electrons.
In 2011, I joined the ATLAS group at the University of Glasgow as a PhD student, where I worked on jet-substructure and vector-like quarks, while based at CERN. In 2015, I joined HiggsTools at Durham University, working very closely with University College London, and have since defended my thesis.
I am interested in jets, searches and measurements where they play a prominent role, aiming at improving and innovating how they are looked at experimentally, and at maximizing their potential as a discovery tool.
