Our ultimate goal is for a Young Researcher trained by HiggsTools to be equally well equipped to make a contribution in both the academia and private sectors upon the completion of their training. We aim to combine the outstanding expertise and quality of the individual network participants to offer the best skills training in a range of areas with attention to the overall personal development of the researcher. Because of the active involvement of the private sector partners in the training programme, we expect that the job prospects of the Young Researchers will be excellent.
The training opportunities offered by HiggsTools will add significant value and go much further than the pre-existing local training that is provided by each individual research institute. The network-wide activities, such as schools, working groups and annual meetings, will tremendously increase our capacity for training and transfer of knowledge and promoting research activities in general.
